deutsch deutsch english (uk) français verband der modelleisenbahner und eisenbahnfreunde europas startseite der vorstand technische kommission die mitgliedsverbände nem - normen inform veranstaltungen archiv aktuell geplant ehrengalerie ahnentafel drucken e-mail wer ist morop? die erzeugnisse der bedeutenden europäischen modellbahn-hersteller unterschieden sich früher aus entwicklungsgeschichtlichen gründen in vielerlei hinsicht. mit der ausbreitung des modellbahnwesens nach 1950 entstanden eine reihe betriebe, die fahrzeuge, gleismaterial und anderes zubehör oder bauteile auf den markt brachten. die fehlende einheitlichkeit in baugröße, spurweite, stromsystem, kupplungssystem, gleis- und radsatzabmessungen machte sich jetzt sehr nachteilig bemerkbar. die inzwischen gegründeten nationalen verbände der modelleisenbahnfreunde schlossen sich daher 1954 zum verband morop zusammen (zunächst "verband der modelleisenbahner europas", später erweitert zum "verband der modelleisenbahner und eisenbahnfreunde europas"). der europäischen dachverband morop hat heute 21 landesverbände mit mehr als 30.000 einzelmitgliedern aus 16 europäische länder. neben den seit langem aktiven gruppierungen aus der eu gehören inzwischen auch verbände aus ungarn, polen, rumänien, rußland, slowakei und tschechien zum morop. wichtigstes ziel des verbandes ist die ausarbeitung, überarbeitung und erneuerung von normen europäischer modellbahnen (nem). mit dieser aufgabe wurde die "technische kommission" des morop betraut, die das normenwerk ständig dem entwicklungsstand der modellbahntechnik anpasst. in den gremien des morop arbeiten repräsentanten der mitgliedsverbände aktiv mit. jedes jahr findet ende august/anfang september der morop-kongress in einem der mitgliedsländer statt. dieser beinhaltet ein arbeitstreffen der technischen kommission und wie bei jedem verband die jährliche delegiertenversammlung, in der die weiteren tätigkeiten und richtlinien für den verband festgelegt werden. neben dem "pflichtprogramm" werden auch exkursionen und programmpunkte für die teilnehmer angeboten, damit sich die anreise auch lohnt und alle teilnehmer über die eisenbahnwelt in und um den tagungsort informiert werden. die teilnahme an den kongressen ist für alle offen. man muss nicht mitglied in einem verein oder verband sein. das programm mit den anmeldeformularen und alle informationen zum jeweiligen kongress werden hier auf der seite und auf facebook veröffentlicht. letzter beitrag in morop inform vom : 20.04.2018 rechtlicher hinweis datenschutz impressum
